The highly polished minted gold bar from Swiss precious metals refiner Argor-Heraeus has a fine gold content of 999.9 and weighs 50 grams (1.608 troy ounces). The 50 gram minted gold bar is rectangular in shape with rounded edges and has dimensions of 50 mm x 28.5 mm x 2.35 mm.

Fabricated by one of Switzerland's best known and most prestigious precious metals refineries, Argor-Heraeus is headquartered in the town of Mendrisio in Swiss Canton of Ticino, close to the Italian border, and if now fully-owned by German precious metals refinery Heraeus. 

The front of the 50 gram gold bar is imprinted with the Argor-Heraeus refinery stamp, the gold bar's weight and fine gold content, '50 grams Fine Gold 999.9', and the bar's unique serial number. 

The 50 gram minted gold comes presented in its own PET transparent secure blister pack which doubles as the bar's assay card. The reverse of the presentation pack also displays the bar's weight and fine gold content and the signature of the Argor-Heraeus certified assayeur.

Not only is Argor-Heraeus listed on the London Bullion Market Association’s (LBMA) current Good Delivery List for Gold and Silver, but the Argor-Heraeus refinery is one of only five precious metals refineries worldwide that are part of the LBMA's prestigious Good Delivery Referees Panel along with fellow Swiss refiners PAMP and Metalor, the Rand Refinery of South Africa, and the Tanaka refinery of Japan.
